This Privacy Policy explains how FoodBag ("we", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, and protects information from users. Our platform aims to reduce food waste by connecting restaurants (Owners) with customers (Clients). By using the App, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

To provide our services effectively, we collect the following types of information:

  • Personal Information: Name, surname, and phone number (collected during registration via OTP).

  • Role-Specific Data: * Owners: Restaurant details, address, business documents, and bank card information for withdrawals.

    • Clients: Order history and preferences.

  • Location Data: We collect precise or approximate location data (via GPS and Google Maps) to show nearby food "boxes" and help Owners set their restaurant location.

  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for push notifications.

  • Financial Data: Bank card details (processed securely via third-party payment providers) for purchasing boxes or withdrawing funds.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to:

  • Facilitate account creation and authentication (OTP).

  • Process orders and payments between Clients and Owners.

  • Provide location-based services (finding nearby restaurants).

  • Send Push Notifications regarding order status, updates, and promotions.

  • Analyze app performance and improve user experience.

  • Ensure security and prevent fraudulent activities.

4. Third-Party Services

The App integrates several third-party services that may collect data independently:

  • Firebase (Google): For Cloud Messaging (Push Notifications) and analytics.

  • Google Maps API: For displaying restaurant locations and map-based searching.

  • Payment Gateways: To process secure financial transactions.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your information as long as your account is active.

  • Account Deletion: Users have the right to delete their account at any time through the App settings (Profile > Delete Account). Upon deletion, all personal data will be removed from our active databases, except where retention is required by law.

6. Children’s Privacy

FoodBag is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover such data has been collected, it will be deleted immediately.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures (SSL encryption, secure API endpoints via savr.eatsave.uz) to protect your data. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
